The film case study associated with this workshop is The Bridge On The River Kwai. The film serves as a catalyst for
management and organizational units to: clarify their basic principles; define success in terms of their true customer and key
results; and, design the infrastructure to properly challenge and support the organization's strategy.
| "At the core of strategy for this decade is the notion that the processes by which you run the company will
differentiate the company. It is management that matters."
-Fortune Magazine, 10/92 | |
This workshop is customized to each client based on the concepts in Frank Wagner's book, The Power of Total
Commitment. According to F.G. "Buck" Rodgers, author of the best seller, The IBM Way, Wagner's book - "... gives a clear
road map for enhancing an individual's productivity. This book provides a valuable learning experience in a unique way. It's
worth reading and then implementing."
The research that went into this workshop originated with studying excellent managers in a number of Fortune 500 companies.
What stood out most clearly from this research was that the key to leadership and management excellence lies in the practice of
commitment. What was less apparent was exactly how commitment was practiced in day-to-day behavior.
